
Surf clam(Hokkigai), Cockle, Propeller clam naturally grow slowly in 12 inches deep sand under the deep and cold North Atlantic Ocean which is 200~300 km away from the east coast of Canada. They do not have any artificial chemical substances, provide unique sweetness and soft flesh with deep and rich taste and nutrients, and contain an abundance of iron, Steresterol B, and Omega 3 that inhibits the accumulation of cholesterol. The surf clam, cockle & propeller clam harvested in Canada have slowly grown in deep water to develop their unique freshness and preserve their original flavors through a rapid-freezing process that is implemented onboard the ship within one hour of harvests.
