Korean Baby Clam (Ruditapes philippinarum) is sustainably harvested from the southern coast of Korea, including Tongyeong, which the US FDA recognizes as a clean sea with regularly monitored hygiene. This clam contains five times more magnesium than an egg, while being low in calories and fat, making them an ideal stamina food.
Our clams are quick-frozen while still fresh and firm, preserving their original texture upon defrosting. Known for their intense flavor and pleasant texture, Korean Baby Clams have earned a reputation for being trustworthy among consumers.
To distinguish Korean Baby Clams from other clam species, note their more pronounced grooves and lines or their siphons joined halfway. High-quality baby clams have tightly closed, uncracked, and shiny shells that do not reveal the insides.
