Oysters are often referred to as the “milk of the sea” due to their high nutritional and protein content. Korea’s southern seas feature coastal inlets with shallow waters that are ideal for an 'ocean ranch'. The favorable currents for aquaculture in this region result in oysters that are nutrient-rich, large, and vividly colored. This pristine area has been certified by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a ‘designated area’ for oyster harvesting.
Oysters are commonly enjoyed raw or baked and are used in various dishes such as oyster soup, oyster rice, and spicy oyster salad. High-quality oysters have firm, lustrous meat that is bright and clear with a milky gloss. Our oysters are flash-frozen at -18 degrees Celsius, retaining their fresh, firm texture when defrosted.
